Using the clients' existing sofas for the basis of the design, I created a warm and welcoming living room. From a sustainable point of view, it's important to me to utilise existing pieces and re-imagine them in my work and this room showcases this. I loved the classic striped fabric on the sofas so had this professionally cleaned and the sofas lovingly restuffed. I sourced new soft furnishings, a statement light and additional styling items to compliment the original pieces. I repurposed other furniture and lighting from around the home to pull it all together. The resulting look is cosy and considered. The clients were thrilled to see their pieces in a new light.
