The brief for this room was to bring in some more colour and blend together a working space with accommodation for grandchildern. I chose a wallpaper made up of tiny strokes of crayon and this was the basis for my design. The two alcoves were dead space so I designed built-in shelving which also doubles up as a bedside table, with a little lamp on it.
